●At the end of 2021, 437 nuclear power reactors were operational, with a total net installed power capacity of 389.5 GW(e).
● In addition, 56 reactors with a total capacity of 58.1 GW(e) were under construction.
●Six new nuclear power reactors with a total capacity of 5.2 GW(e) were connected to the grid, and ten reactors with a total capacity of 8.7 GW(e) were retired. Construction began on ten new reactors that are expected to add a total capacity of 8.8 GW(e).
