Through 60 years of experience, starting from zero basis in nuclear, Korea is more than familiar with the difficulties when adopting nuclear technology or expanding the industry.

South Korea is among the world's most prominent nuclear energy countries, and exports its technology widely.
From 2009, it is currently involved in the building of the UAE's first nuclear power plant, total 5.6 GWe (APR1400 × 4 Units), at Barakah.
