    • 345kV XLPE cable is an underground cable used to
    transmit electricity produced at nuclear power plants,
    which is insulated with cross-linked polyethylene(PE).
    Eliminating the use of insulating oil reduces the risk of
    environmental pollution and fire outbreak and greatly
    improves heat resistance to increase the allowable current.
    • In addition, the cable is easily constructible since its
    equipment is simple. Taihan has completed commercialization
    up to 500kV XLPE cables, the highest grade of underground
    transmission cables, and is supplying cables to the nuclear
    power plant market in various countries.
